N: Ninja Day! 🥷

First graders’ life skill focus last week was nutrition and balanced eating. This week, they learned about kitchen safety and how to use tools in the kitchen. Students practiced peeling, spreading, slicing, and dicing. Stay tuned for next week when they put these skills to work by following recipes!

Yesterday was “M” in our ABC countdown, and thanks to our PTC, students enjoyed the mysteries of a science show. Thank you, PTC!

Teacher appreciation continues! Miss Gloria, along with her son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter, decorated flower pots for the staff!

A few of our K–2 students bravely set aside their stage fright and took the spotlight for Karaoke Day, performing some of their favorite songs.

All our students took a moment to say “thank you” to our amazing teachers and staff today for teacher appreciation week! 💙

We’re so proud of all of our amazing students who participated in this year’s School Spelling Bees! 🐝📚 Your hard work, courage, and dedication truly shined. Each grade was represented by two outstanding spellers, and we couldn’t be more impressed with everyone who took part! Happy Bus Driver Appreciation Day, Miss Kathy! Thank you for your hard work and dedication to our students and our school. The time and effort you put in each day, both on the bus and in the building, make a real difference in keeping things running smoothly and ensuring our students' safety. Your commitment does not go unnoticed, and we appreciate all you do!

It was wonderful seeing the cafeteria filled with so many amazing people for D: Dine With Someone Grand! We are so thankful for the special people in our students’ lives who showed up, shared a meal, and made the day so meaningful. Today’s activity C: chalk up the playground!

Last week, our first graders learned all about tools as part of their life skills focus. This week, they put that knowledge into action! Students became builders as they worked to create and paint their very own birdhouses. They practiced using tools safely, followed directions, and showed so much creativity in their painting.
