🧫🧬🥼AbSoLuTe SCIENCE 🧪👨🏼🔬🔬
for an all school assembly on May 20th! Thank you PTC!

R is for Rest and Relaxation! Yesterday was R Day in our ABC Countdown, and first grade focused on taking a deep breath and slowing down. We practiced yoga together, stretching our bodies and calming our minds. It was the perfect way to relax, recharge, and enjoy a peaceful moment during our busy countdown to summer! Namaste!

Our K-2 royals shined bright for Queens and Kings Day, and they looked absolutely majestic! From sparkling crowns to regal dresses, our K-2 students embraced the spirit of the day with creativity and pride. Long live the imagination of our little kings and queens! 👑

Our kinders enjoyed popsicles for P Day!

O is for Outside Reading!
Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders grabbed a buddy and a book and took their reading outside for O Day of the ABC Countdown! Sunshine, stories, and smiles made it the perfect way to celebrate reading and friendship.

Check out our 3-6th grade engineers testing out their bridge designs today in SuperSTEM. The students enjoyed brainstorming how to test their creations.

May Menu Change: Monday, May 5, and Tuesday, May 6 will be switched.

Our 5th and 6th graders had a sweet time today as they checked off another fun activity on our countdown calendar—“I: Enjoy an Ice Cream Treat!”
Students cooled down with delicious ice cream while completing hands-on learning stations all about the Gold Rush. Did you know the Klondike Gold Rush (1896–1899) was one of the most frenzied and challenging gold rushes in history?
The Klondike Bar uses the name to evoke a sense of cold (Yukon territory) and richness (gold). Which made the kids ask, "What would you dooooooooo for a Klondike bar?"

Grands Day Lunch was a full house! We were thrilled to welcome so many grandparents and special guests to celebrate with us. Despite the rainy weather pushing recess indoors, the fun didn’t stop! Students and families enjoyed a variety of games and activities that kept the energy high and the smiles going. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special!

Shoutout to our 5th and 6th grade readers! They crushed it this year — 100% of the class earned the reading field trip AND exceeded their personal goals!
To celebrate April’s AR success, they partied with games and ice cream cones. Drum(stick)🍦 roll, please......
So far this year, these reading champs have racked up over 1,520 AR points! Keep turning those pages, superstars!

Our K–2 students brought the energy today as they danced their hearts out for G: Get Groovy and Dance Day! From twists and turns to happy hops, the smiles were contagious and the grooves unstoppable.

F is for Frisbee with Friends!
K-2 had a blast getting outside and playing together for today’s ABC Countdown. Nothing better than sunshine, laughter, and a game of frisbee with friends!

We are so proud of all the students who competed in this year’s school spelling bee! It was an exciting morning full of impressive talent and hard work.
Junior Bee (Grades 1-3):
• Winner: Quintin
• Runner-Up: DeLaney
Senior Bee (Grades 4-6):
• Winner: Rowen
• Runner-Up: Dakota
Congratulations to our winners and all of our participants! You made us proud with your determination and amazing spelling skills. Way to go, everyone!

Bridge builders in the making!
This week in SuperSTEM, our 3rd–6th graders rolled up their sleeves and got to work designing and building bridges! These hands-on engineers made awesome connections to what they’ve been learning—everything from westward expansion and pioneer life to force, motion, and the mighty triangle. Let’s just say… they’re very thankful modern travel doesn’t involve rickety wagons and river crossings anymore!

Sunny skies and warm days bring big smiles to our K-2 crew!☀️

Spirit Wear is available at the link below. Orders are due by April 21st and should be ready before our spirit wear day on May 15th.
