Parents and Guardians,
Please make sure you notify the office right away if there is a change from your student's normal routine, whether they are riding the bus, attending latchkey, being picked up, or a different contact is picking up. This must be done even if you have notified the teacher. Thank you for helping us keep our students and staff informed and protected!

Our 3rd–6th graders were all smiles at SuperSTEM today! First, they discovered the amazing Leaf Sheep—a tiny sea creature that gets its energy from the sun! ☀️🐑 Then, they explored five mythical creatures from history that were inspired by real animals. 🐉🦄 Finally, creativity took flight as students designed their own mythical creatures before cooling off with a well-earned popsicle treat. 🍧✨ We love seeing curiosity, imagination, and learning come together! 💡💙

First graders wrapped up a magical year with Disney Day! They "rode" rides, completed themed activities, became Jedi Masters in training, and snacked on some treats. Here’s to a year of learning, laughter, and a fairy tale ending!

The 3rd and 4th graders read, Charlotte's Web by E.B. White, and created puppets of the characters along their reading adventure. The last two days they created a script for a play. They also used their artistic skills to make their play settings come alive by making backgrounds. Today they performed their play for classmates and the 5th and 6th graders. They sure are, Terrific, Radiant, Humble, Some Students!

V is for Hawaiian Vacation Day! We may not be in Hawaii, but today definitely felt like it! Students showed up in their best tropical gear—think leis, shades, and lots of aloha spirit.

Today the 6th graders enjoyed the traditional celebration lunch off campus with Mrs. Lettow. This year’s group chose Buffalo Wild Wings, and all had a great time! Thank you, Miss Kathy, for driving us. Congratulations on your years at Spring Lake, 6th Graders! 🎓 You are special to us!

Look what we hatched! Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders watched the eggs in the incubator, counted down the days, and finally got to see the chicks hatch. So much excitement, learning, and cuteness!

Our 3rd-6th graders enjoyed their final SuperSTEM engineering challenge this afternoon. Students were given the task to use a limited amount of straws, tape, string, and a cup to create a tower with a free-moving suspended bucket that holds weight. Students used multiple trials and tweaks to build the best tower to hold the most weight. These young scientists are indeed super!
