Next week is Seuss Week! 📚
Kindergarten has been learning about what makes a community and used their knowledge to build their own! They then presented their community to the other classrooms. Great work, kindergartners!
Spring Lake will be closed tomorrow, February 12th due to the anticipated winter storm.
Join us for our annual family literacy night on Tuesday, March 4! This year, families will play Bingo to earn free books to take home. Those in attendance will also receive a complimentary raffle ticket for a chance to win a literacy-themed basket. We hope to see you there!

PTC will accept Spaghetti Dinner ticket payments until Monday February 3rd. Tickets will be available the day of the event for $10 each.
Reminder: Tomorrow January 31st is early dismissal at 12pm. Also, there is no afternoon latchkey.
First graders had a dog-gone good time celebrating the 101st day of school! 🐾 🦴
Happy 💯 day of school! Second graders wrote about what their lives would be like at 100 years old, and kindergarteners sorted snack and shared what they would do if they had $100!
After further consideration, Spring Lake will be CLOSED tomorrow January 21st due to cold temps.

Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but our class is so delightful! First graders welcomed the winter weather by doing a week-long unit on the book "The Snowy Day" by Ezra Jack Keats. They concluded the unit by playing in the "snow" and celebrated reaching another classroom goal with a hot chocolate party! ❄️
Happy New Year! Just a couple of calendar reminders for the month of January. There is NO SCHOOL on the 20th for Martin Luther King Day and Early Dismissal at 12pm on the 31st for School Improvement Day. There will NOT be afternoon Latchkey on the 31st.
